While in Nepal in the summer of 2001 studying Buddhist tankha painting with Mohan Bikran Lama in Kathmandu, I visited several Tibetan refugee camps and monastries in the valley. I plan to paint twenty-four paintings of children to raise money for sponsorship of school and religious education (www.lesenfantsdepadma.c.la).
